Students debate the Labour Party question
We give three Communist Student positions
The decision by the Communist Students executive to affiliate to the Labour Representation Committee has provoked a heated debate. We reprint three representative contributions. The first is from a more or less openly leftist tendency. Here, clearly put, are the politics of movementism and purity. Then comes the reply written by James Turley putting the classic Leninist position. Finally what might appear at first sight to be a middling, equivocating position, but which in reality also adheres to the politics of movementism and purity.
