Left cooperation forbidden

The following letter was sent by Arthur Scargill to Chris Weller, secretary of the Kent Socialist Alliance

Dear comrade,

I am writing to clarify a situation which has been brought to my attention regarding the Kent Socialist Alliance and yourself.

A number of comrades in the Kent Socialist Labour Party have indicated that you are an active member and actually chaired a meeting of the Kent Socialist Alliance. You will be aware that the party has a clear policy of no involvement with pacts or alliances and this includes the Kent Socialist Alliance.

Could you please let me know, by return, if you are a member or connected with the Kent Socialist Alliance.
