Ewin murderer to be charged

THE WIDOW, family, friends and supporters of David Ewin are pleased to discover that the Crown Prosecution Service has decided to prosecute Metropolitan Police Constable Patrick Hodgson for the murder of David Ewin.

In our literature we have always said that this was the clearest case yet of a premeditated murder by a police officer and we have called for him to be prosecuted.

We are now seeking the second of our demands: namely, that Metropolitan Police Commissioner Paul Condon retracts his statement of commendation of the officer who murdered David Ewin and now offers a full apology to David’s widow, Sarah.

We expect that the CPS will rigorously pursue the case. We do not want to find ourselves in a similar situation to the family of Stephen Lawrence who have been forced by the inefficiency of the CPS to take out a private prosecution against the people they believe killed their son.
