Help us get there
Before I report on the start of the November fighting fund, let’s just recap how we did in October. As I said last week, we had already exceeded the £2,750 monthly target, and the last couple of days saw another £58 come our way. Thanks to comrades BK (£25), JD and MD (£10 each) and SD (£3), who all made a handy bank transfer, as well as AC (£5 via PayPal) and comrade Hassan (his usual £5 note).
Those last-minute donations took our final total for October up to £2,818 - not a huge surplus, but still a useful £68 over and above the target. Well done, everybody who played their part!
What about November? As I write, we’re just completing the first four days of the month and so far we’ve raised £431. Thank you, comrades AC (£100!), LC and BO (£50 each), MM (£31), CG and RG (£30), DL and MT (£20), CP (£16), AN (£15), MR (£13), RP (£12), MM (£11), DI (£10), MA (£8) and BG (£5). While all the above chipped in via standing order/bank transfer, we also received £5 each from comrades TM and JN, who clicked on that PayPal button.
Not a bad start to the month, but can we keep it up? I really hope so. I can’t stress enough how much the Weekly Worker depends on the support of our readers, and now we need to go shooting past that £2,750 target in the final two months of 2026. Will you help us do that? Please go to the web address below to see the different ways of contributing. We even take old-fashioned cheques!
