Over 100,000 signatures have now been collected for the Unemployed Workers Charter petition demanding ‘Health care for need, not profit! No Hospital closures! Vic Turner (above) - honorary president of the UWC and Pentonville Five veteran - helped the delivery to health secretary Stephen Dorrrell last week. The UWC has now relaunched its petition with the aim of 250,000 names by the time of the next election.
