Assault on trade unionists

A COMPANY with its headquarters in Britain, Inchaperentras, has sacked 50 workers in Turkey for joining the Tuntis transport union.

On September 13 workers picketing out their plant for reinstatement were attacked at 6am by special security forces. After being brutally beaten 45 workers including the union’s president and education officer were arrested and detained.

All trade unionists, socialists and communists should campaign for the release of these trade unionists, victimised for demanding their constitutional right of union membership.
