Communist Party Offensive 95

Summer Offensive 95 is over with a magnificent £28,530 raised in three months. Much of this money was raised by just a few comrades. A tremendous effort, which must now be generalised to all supporters and sympathisers around the country.

Raising money needs to become part and parcel of a week’s work. New branch targets will now be set, so let your branch secretary know how much you can raise each week.

Although we did not make our ambitious £35,000 target, the money raised leaves us in a good position to expand the Party printshop and to move to a bigger paper soon. Comrades will have noticed all the contributions to the paper from other organisations, which makes a bigger paper now urgent. The more the process of rapprochement develops, the more debate must be given room in the paper. As well as this, like the mainstream parties we are already preparing for the next general election. The paper must take our politics out to voters throughout the country. We will also have millions of election manifestos and other propaganda to print.

So well done, comrades, but there is little room to relax. We need all outstanding cash sent in urgently to secure our new premises.
