Fighting fund

Phil Kent reports on the Weekly Worker fighting fund

I do not know which damn fool pope decided to start the New Year in January. If he had been out selling papers and raising money he would have realised it is still the middle of winter. But I’ve never been one to complain. Dundee branch raised £76 in Hogmanay week. Regular street work is a non-spectacular, but vital method of combining political work with fund raising.

The Christmas push was a welcome boost to our finances, but with comrades now back at work we need to keep money coming in regularly to reach this month’s target of £3,000.
