Fighting Fund

How far past? Robbie Rix reports

We are in sight of much needed success with our April fighting fund, thanks to some generous gifts received over the last seven days.

Much needed? Yes, especially so following our recent costly office move. In fact we could do with exceeding our usual £1,000 target by the same amount again just to put us back to where we ought to be financially.

Helping us along the way this week were TR, with another tremendous £60 donation, GD, who contributed £20, SE, who added £20 to his book order, and DC, who threw in an extra tenner with his subscription.

Standing orders received featured AM’s brilliant £100, plus £7 from DW and £2 from JD. Meanwhile LA has promised to triple his standing order to £30 from next month.

Although online readership was below the recent average at 12,226, we received four donations via our PayPal facility - £20 each from GH and JK, plus two £10 gifts, from OF and SD.

All in all, £279 was added to our total this week, taking it to £826 with a week of our April fund remaining. Let’s see how far past £1,000 we can go!
