The London Socialist Alliance sends its warmest comradely greetings to your conference. We hope you have a constructive and fraternal meeting.

The LSA takes inspiration from the successes of the SSP's challenge to Blair's Labour. In particular, the election of the outstanding working class fighter, Tommy Sheridan, to the Scottish parliament underlines the potential for principled working class politics to make a mass impact in this period.

The LSA stands for the right of the Scottish people to self-determination and supports the struggle of our comrades in that country in our common fight for socialism. We stand for working class unity against New Labour, for consistent democracy and for genuine socialism. We pledge our future support to that shared fight.
