Linda Addison reports on the Weekly Worker fighting fund
Comrades will have noticed that last week’s Weekly Worker was very late in arriving on your doorstep.
Though, as I always write in this column, finance is a constant struggle for our organisation, you will be happy to learn that we have not hit crisis point.
Our organisation is renowned for being able to raise the necessary finance to bring out a weekly paper with a small team of committed members and with the help of supporters and readers. Last week’s paper was held up by printing problems which could not immediately be solved.
Last week’s paper was particularly important because it discussed the problems within the SLP that must be addressed by all comrades following Pat Sikorski’s resignation. This paper must be circulated as widely as possible, which is why we have included a copy with this issue.
The Weekly Worker is becoming more central for all partisans of the working class to find out the debates going on in the SLP and the workers’ movement as it exists today. We need the help of all readers to ensure that it can continue that role. Send in your donations today.
