Fancy joining in?

With, as I write, 12 days gone in April, we’ve continued our moderate start to this month’s fighting fund, with a further £335 coming our way. That takes our running total up to £675 - but, of course, the monthly target is £2,250, so I’m afraid that once again we’re lagging behind a bit.

On top of that, we were well short of that target in March, so now we really do need to step up the pace. So I’m appealing to all Weekly Worker supporters - please do what you can to help us. Why not commit yourself to paying a monthly standing order? It’s sort code 30-99-64, account number 00744310.

That’s how most of our current contributors make their donations - that or by bank transfer to the same account. Amongst them this week was one of our highest regular donors, comrade PB, whose monthly SO is for no less than £70! Others using the same method were comrades BO (£35), HN (£30), DV and GD (£25 each), CC and SM (£10).

On top of that we received two excellent PayPal contributions - both for £50 (our thanks to RL and US comrade PM), plus a tenner from MH. Finally comrade LM made her usual £20 cash payment to our editor.

It goes without saying that the Weekly Worker absolutely depends on our readers and supporters in order to keep publishing. So, if you don’t normally help us in this way, why not think about it? You can, of course, send us a cheque, click on that PayPal button on our website or use the bank details above.
