Picking up speed

After a steady start our annual Summer Offensive fundraising drive has really started to pick up speed. Total pledges are still short of our £25,000 target, to be reached by the end of June, but they have now crept up beyond the £20,000 mark.

Already we have received well over £3,000 and a special thanks this week goes to JB from Southampton (£30), PC from Glasgow (£45) and SK in Berkshire for a magnificent £100 cheque. One North London comrade tells us he has already reached his personal target, and now aims at least to double it!

Last week Brent comrades managed to rake in £205, while Dundee CPGB supporters raised £127.

We are getting news from all over the country of our comrades’ initiatives, including car boot sales, sponsored hill walks and the doubling of paper sales - it all counts towards your personal total. Let us know how you are planning to meet targets in your areal
